The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program encourages conversations, learning experiences, and other events in alignment with the program's goals both inside and outside the classroom. Up to $2000 in funds may be requested and is allowed to be used in various ways. For example, funding can be used to create a proposal for a course that satisfies the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Requirement, to improve or revamp existing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Courses, or to enable further conversation outside of the classroom related to the various topics that satisfy the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Requirement. The call for proposals for Spring 2025 can be found here and is due on November 25th, 2024.
This is independent of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Course Mini Grant, which is funding requested during the process of submitting course for the designation for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Requirement (see below).
